Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Instrumentation Engineer with Power, Steel, Metallurgical Industry exposure in Instrumentation and Process Technologies/Safety Measures/Instrument Sizing, Selection etc.

Education & Experience

B. Tech in Instrumentation Engineering with 6+ years of experience

Responsibilities

• To be able to plan the activities / Deliverables as per the Project / Client requirement
• To be able to plan the resources as per the Deliverables / Schedule
• To be able to read and Understand P& IDs / PFDs thoroughly
• Should have thorough knowledge of Vendor Packages
• Should have thorough knowledge on Material Requisition
• Should have thorough knowledge on Technical Bid Evaluation and Vendor Document Review
• Knowledge in SPI, PDMS, PDS & SP3D etc.,has an added advantage
• Experience in Instrucalc & COMOS is Mandatory.
• Should have thorough knowledge of Codes and Standards: KKS Tagging philosophy,ISA, IEC, BS, API, ASME & ASTM,Other International Standards
• Should be familiar in Preparation / Drafting of following Detail Engineering Deliverables:
• Instrument Index,Instrument specifications,I/O list,JB Schedule,Cable Schedule,Interconnection Wiring Schedules.,
• Control Loop Diagrams,Hook-up Drawings,Equipment Location Drawings for Field Instrumentation,Field Junction Box Lay-Out Drawings,Power Distribution Field Box Lay-Out Drawings,Embedded plate and channel base drawings for I&C equipment
• Installation Material Lists for Field Instrumentation
• Cable lists with cable routing information
• Cable tray drawings, with supporting structures included etc.
• Level setting diagrams for level measurements
